Sixteen Normalisse N720 jars in glass, cylindrical and with a wide TO 82 mouth. They stand 151.5 mm tall by 86.8 mm across and weigh 290 g each.
01 · THE ONE-KILO JAR
The arithmetic of the format
The 720 ml is to the brim, and leaving the headspace for the lid it comes out at around a kilo of honey — honey weighs some 1.4 kg per litre. Weigh a full jar of your own honey before you order labelling.
The 82 mm mouth takes up nearly the whole diameter of the jar. That is welcome when filling and above all at the end: the spoon reaches the bottom and the walls, which is where a crystallised honey stays stuck in a narrow neck.
02 · THE LID
The diameter with the most finishes in the catalogue
It takes a 82 mm Twist-Off lid, the standard low skirt, and it is the diameter with the widest choice: gold, black, honeycomb, bee design, bronze with a copper bee and several illustrated designs. If you want to present a kilo of honey well, this is where there is something to choose from.
And for once the numbers are round: jars and lids both come in packs of 16.
