The bee image adorns the jar for a beekeeping range, while the closure relies on precise geometry.
These 16 Twist-Off TO82 lids are manufactured for GPI 2040 openings.
01 · COMPATIBILITY
Six prongs and TO82 opening
Check the jar's finish before filling. A capacity of 720 ml or 1 kg does not, by itself, identify the opening. Discard any cracked glass and lids with damaged rims or internal compounds.
02 · THERMAL LIMIT
Documented Pasteurization
The Tecnocap data sheet declares up to 100 °C for 60 min. It validates the food, jar, headspace, torque, and cycle as a system; this data alone does not authorize a sterilization process.
03 · DECORATION
Presentation and Traceability
The design does not replace mandatory labelling. Keep the original packaging of the caps until use, protected from dust and moisture, between +5 and +35 °C and with a maximum relative humidity of 70%.
FROM THE APIARY
A Twist-Off does not screw on like a bottle cap: the six lugs ride up a short ramp and the whole closure is a quarter turn. Sit it flat until you feel it settle, turn to the stop and leave it there: carrying on does not seal better, it bends the lug and leaves the jar impossible to open. If it grates or feels like the thread has stripped, lift it off and set it down again — there is no thread to strip, a lug has ridden over its ramp.
