On the same 70 mouth there are three skirt heights. Picking the wrong one leaves you with twenty-five lids that do not close.

Twenty-five Aura glass jars of 445 ml, with a tall Twist Off 70 mouth. They stand 132 mm tall by 74 across and weigh 220 g each.

01 · THE LID

TO 70, and an H14 skirt

This jar has a tall mouth and takes the TO 70 lid with the H14 deep skirt, available in gold, black and silver. And the numbers work out: those lids come in packs of 25, just like the jars.

The other two skirt heights on the same mouth will not do: the standard TO 70 falls short, and the H18 — the extra-deep skirt — belongs to the extra-tall-mouth jars, not to this one.

02 · WHAT IT IS FOR

445 ml is about 600 g of honey

It is an in-between format: more presentable than the kilo jar, with more product than a gift-sized one. The glass and the wide mouth work just as well for jam, sauce or a spread.

And a figure for anyone ordering labels: the usable label height is 106.3 mm.

03 · BEFORE YOU BUY
