Details of Male threaded hose tail fitting stainless steel

AISI 304 stainless fitting with a male thread at one end and a barbed tail at the other. It turns a threaded outlet into a hose connection.

There are two versions and they differ in the thread, not the hose. DN 40 or DN 50 depending on your tank; the hose side is the same on both.

01 · DN 40 OR DN 50: PICK THE THREAD

What decides is the tank side

The fitting comes with a DN 40 thread and with a DN 50 thread: that is the only difference between the two versions, and it is read off the tank outlet before ordering. If your honey line runs in 1½”, the thread is DN 40; if it runs in 2”, DN 50.

02 · THE HOSE IS 1½” ON BOTH

The barb does not change

Both versions end in a barb for 1½” hose, that is Ø40 mm inside diameter: a 2” tank reduces to the 40 hose with no extra parts. The ribbing on the barb is what stops the hose slipping when the pump draws and pulls a vacuum, which is when it really tugs.

03 · STAINLESS AND WITHOUT CREVICES

You clean it where it stands

It is AISI 304, the food-contact stainless usual in a honey house, with a smooth finish: it is rinsed hot with the rest of the line and holds no honey in dead corners.

The hose clip is not included, and without it the joint lets go on the first strong suction.

04 · BEFORE YOU BUY

Measure your outlet's thread: DN 40 or DN 50. The hose and the clip go separately.

✓ RIGHT FIT	Taking a hose off a threaded outlet on a tank, extractor or ripener.
✕ WRONG FIT	Gate or clamp outlets: those call for a different adapter.
⚠ NOT INCLUDED	The hose or the clip for the joint.
