Manual filling valve HS-060 that screws onto the outlet of the tank’s 40 mm (1½″) stainless gate valve and cuts the honey thread when you release the lever, with no drip between jars. It goes on and comes off by hand with the gate closed, so it fits a tank already full and moves from one tank to another. Honey-contact parts are food-grade; 0.5 kg.
Three inbox questions, one root: it does not go with the tank, it goes with the gate. Sold alone, fitted afterwards, moved between tanks.
01 · WHAT IT DOES
Cuts clean when you release the lever
With the gate open, honey flows through the valve while you press the lever and stops when you let go: no thread left hanging to smear the jar rim and no cleaning between jars. It does not dose or calibrate volumes, does not heat the honey and has nothing to do with sealing the jar: the honey must be fluid, and if it has crystallised it is warmed first in a gentle water bath.
02 · WHERE IT MOUNTS
On the 40 mm gate outlet, not on the tank wall
It screws by hand onto the outlet of the 40 mm (1½″, 40/49) stainless gate valve, the house one (369), which is the gate of tanks from 50 to 1000 kg. That is why it can be fitted after filling the tank, with the gate closed, and why one valve serves several tanks with the same gate: unscrew, rinse, move on. With gates of another size or in plastic, check the outlet thread before ordering; it comes with no adapters.
03 · CLEANING
Comes apart by hand, no spanners
Every part comes apart by hand to wash in hot water and neutral soap between batches, and goes back just as fast; no tools. Honey-contact parts are food-grade. Store it dry and empty so the shutter does not stick.
04 · BEFORE YOU BUY
The valve is supplied alone, without tank or gate: the 40 mm stainless gate is 369 and the tank in the photo is not included.
