BroodMinder
BroodMinder monitors temperature, humidity and weight using sensors combined for the measurements required. Read them with a phone during visits, or add a hub for remote access. That distinction determines the equipment needed.

Internal temperature, humidity or weight trends
The T sensor records temperature; the TH adds relative humidity. Install them as the system instructs, while continuing hive inspections. A temperature change may prompt a check but does not by itself confirm queenlessness or disease.
W and W5 scales support one side of the hive and need a level support opposite. The W4 measures at four points beneath the hive. Consider stability, the base and hive moves when choosing a mounting arrangement; changing support affects comparisons between readings.
Read beside the hive or check from home
Sensors communicate by Bluetooth with a nearby phone. Receiving readings while away requires a Cell hub, compatible coverage at the site and the relevant service. Sensors alone do not provide remote connectivity.
Basic and Pro kits contain different components. Count how many hives have an internal sensor, how many will be weighed and whether the set includes a hub. Two temperature sensors and one scale monitor two interiors but weigh only one hive.
Management notes make the graph meaningful
Adding a super, feeding or removing frames also changes weight. Record those interventions to distinguish them from nectar intake or consumption of stores. Compare trends over several days with what you see during visits, rather than relying on a single jump in the graph.
