Nicot plastic half-frame for MiniPlus, used individually in the nuc or joined to a second unit to form a Dadant super frame.
The interlocking geometry moves comb between MiniPlus and the Dadant super format without making this a brood frame. Each 217 × 160 mm piece comes with a Hoffman spacer.
01 · FORMAT AND PAIRING
One half-frame; two form a super frame
Nicotplast makes the part in France from plastic described as food-contact suitable and recyclable. It is used as an individual half-frame in MiniPlus. Joining two units creates the geometry of one Dadant super frame. This equivalence refers to the super format, not to a Dadant brood frame.
02 · FITTING WAX
Cut foundation or a starter strip on three sides
The frame can take a sheet of foundation cut to size or a wax starter strip supported on three sides. It may be prepared with wire or without, according to the chosen method. Fit the supplied Hoffman spacer only when required. For attachment, follow current Nicot instructions and the safety data sheet for a compatible adhesive; do not improvise with solvents.
03 · BEFORE YOU BUY
Check the assembly materials you will need
The listed unit is one half-frame. A second frame, foundation, wire, adhesive, MiniPlus nuc and queen are not stated as supplied. To make a complete Dadant super frame you need two units and should decide the wax and spacing method beforehand.
