Dadant US body for the Paradise Honey 2-Queen Nuc & Mate system, manufactured from high-density extra-hardened EPS.

It is a modular component measuring 55 × 32 × 30.7 cm, designed to complete or expand that specific nucleus; it is not a hive ready to be populated on its own.

01 · HIGH-DENSITY EPS

Insulation with low weight

Paradise Honey manufactures the box from extra-hardened expanded polystyrene suitable for food contact, with a density above 100 kg/m³. The material provides insulation and makes handling easier, but actual thermal performance depends on the complete setup, ventilation, colony population and weather.

Reference 11883-03 corresponds to the Dadant US body of the 2-Queen Nuc & Mate. Before assembly, verify the floor, lid, dividers, feeders and compatible frames. Parts from other Paradise Honey nuclei should not be assumed interchangeable simply because they share the same material or brand.

The old product sheet describes it as a six-frame box, but the current official documentation identifies it as part of the 2-Queen Nuc & Mate system and does not state that capacity on the product page. Frames are not included. Confirm the exact configuration if you are replacing a part from older equipment.
