Details of Paraffin wax box 24KG

Although the product is marketed as paraffin, its data sheet identifies it as white microcrystalline wax. Applied hot to dry wood, it forms a barrier that helps protect the surface from the elements.

🪵 Coating by immersion or brush

Immersion application requires a properly sized, stable tank with controlled temperature. The brush application option allows for working in sections, but the wax must be kept sufficiently fluid without overheating or accumulating in joints and recesses.

🌡️ Thermal data from the data sheet

The stated solidification point is 68–75 °C and the dropping point is 75–85 °C. These are material characteristics, not a universal working method. The equipment, volume, and part determine the safe procedure.

🔥 Molten wax: serious risk of burns and fire

Work in a prepared, ventilated area free of flames, sparks, and moisture. Use appropriate heat protection, face protection, gloves, and clothing. Never pour water on hot or burning wax: it can cause it to spray violently. Have a suitable fire suppression plan in place.

📦 Five slabs for batching the amount to melt

The box contains 24 kg divided into five plates. Store them in a cool, dry place, protected from sunlight, dust, and excessive temperatures. Melt only the amount that the equipment can handle with a margin of safety.
