What role does it play in pollen production?

Freshly collected pollen often contains impurities such as plant debris, bee body parts, or fine dust from the field. This equipment allows for dry cleaning of large volumes without damaging the granules, preserving both the texture and appearance of the pollen for human consumption or export.

How does the cleaning system work?

Pollen is fed into a top hopper that distributes it across two perforated stainless steel screens:

• Upper mesh: 4 mm holes
• Lower mesh: 0.5 mm holes

As the pollen moves across the sieves, three powerful, independently adjustable fans blow away lighter particles like dust, wing fragments, or dry leaf matter. Both the motor and the fan speed can be finely tuned, allowing precise adaptation to different pollen types (e.g., cistus, heather, borage, rapeseed, sunflower, etc.).
