Plastic single-row grafting bar with 33 cups for royal jelly production. Fits standard queen-rearing frame. The single row gives clear sight of each cup's acceptance and jelly level at every inspection. Condition in the hive 24-48 h before grafting. Harvest at 48 h.
One row, easier monitoring per frame, the right format for small and mid-scale production.
Where output volumes don't justify the density of a double-row bar, this 33-cup single-row bar gives you a more manageable working unit. It's also the natural choice when distributing grafts across more frames rather than loading each one to maximum capacity — or when assessing acceptance rates in a colony that's still building up.
A single row means an unobstructed view of each cup the moment you open the frame: acceptance, jelly volume, and larval development at a glance without having to work around a second layer. That visibility matters when you're dialling in a new receiver colony, troubleshooting a low acceptance run, or simply learning to read what the bees are telling you. Conditioning the bar in the hive for 24-48 hours before grafting remains the most cost-effective way to improve acceptance rates.
At 48 hours after grafting, remove the larva with a clean spatula or grafting tool and harvest. The food-safe plastic cleans up easily between cycles. Bear in mind that with 33 cups per bar you'll need either more bars per frame or more frames in production to match the output of a double-row bar — that's the straightforward trade-off of the format. Check compatibility with your frame support system before first use.
