That is why it weighs pallets, not buckets

The tolerance is the same whatever the load weighs. On a 300 kg drum, ±1.5 kg is half a percent and works perfectly for stock control; on a 25 kg bucket the same error is 6 % and the reading stops meaning anything.

The conclusion is about use, not quality: this machine is for pallets, drums and blocks. To weigh jars or buckets you need a bench scale with its own range.

Before weighing to sell, check the approval

A scale used to set the price of a transaction has to be a verified instrument, with its metrological marking and its periodic verification. It is not a recommendation: it is what legal metrology requires.

For stock, process control, splitting lots or reconciling a harvest, on the other hand, a weighing pallet truck is exactly the tool. If the intended use includes selling by weight, confirm it with us before ordering.

03 · TARE: WHAT YOU WEIGH IS THE HONEY

Twenty tares and a running total

It stores up to 20 numeric tares, so you deduct the drum, the pallet or the box and the display shows the net. The sum function adds successive weighings, which is what you need when loading a lorry or closing a batch.

The K3 indicator has a backlit LED display and auto-hold: the value freezes on screen once the load settles, readable from several metres without bending down. With IP-65 protection, it takes the dust and water of a honey house.

04 · BATTERY LIFE AND CONNECTION

Thirty to sixty hours and an output to a computer

The rechargeable battery gives between 30 and 60 hours of continuous work, so in practice it gets charged once a week in season and stops being a problem.

The RS-232 output lets you send the weighings to a printer or a computer, with WiFi and relays as options. If the aim is to leave a record of every drum without writing it down by hand, that is the way.
