Eight brood frames on one level or sixteen shallows on two, with a snap-on lid and stackable. Weighs 3 kg.

Blatt frames at 47 and Langstroth at 48 in the same apiary: slide the guides and the same box carries them, no tools and no rattling in the van.

01 · THE GUIDES

Four brackets and two crossbeams that adjust to the top bar

The four side brackets and the two crossbeams slide along the inside walls to the width of the top bar at hand: Dadant and Blatt at 47, Langstroth and Dadant US at 48, or the regional size you use. On one level eight brood frames hang from their lugs; with the crossbeams a second level takes sixteen shallow frames. Layens frames, 39.5 cm tall, exceed the 32.2 inside and do not fit with the lid on.

02 · THE MATERIAL

Food-grade polypropylene, from van heat to pressure washing

Food-grade polypropylene: it takes contact with honey, propolis and wax, the heat of the vehicle in August and cleaning with a pressure washer or scraper. It absorbs neither moisture nor smells, so damp frames after extraction do not go mouldy inside. Ribbed walls and integrated handles to carry it with eight full frames; the lid snaps on firmly and lets several boxes stack.

03 · WHAT ELSE FOR

Frames to the honey house, gear between seasons

It starts carrying honey frames to the extraction room without dripping in the car and ends up storing gear: empty supers, frames pulled at the spring inspection, foundation sheltered from wax moth. The German review from 2026 says it in three words: very satisfied. Supplied with body, lid, four brackets and two crossbeams.

✓ FITS	Anyone moving honey or brood frames between apiary and honey house, with more than one frame format, who wants a sealed, stackable box.
✕ DOESN’T FIT	Anyone working in Layens: the 39.5 cm tall frames do not fit with the lid. Nor anyone after a nuc box with bees: it does not ventilate.
