01 · WHAT IT DOES, AND WHAT IT DOES NOT

Because it gets confused with the feeder

The ejector empties the super: you set it full on the frame, and on the pedal a pneumatic cylinder pushes the block of frames up from below, so they come out one at a time on top. A guide keeps them aligned as they rise.

What it does not do is feed the machine: the uncapper's chain does that, if it has one. They are complementary, not alternatives. Anyone who already has a chain feeder still pulls the frames out of the super by hand without this.

02 · COMPRESSOR APART, AND NO PRESSURE

And without the pressure it cannot be sized

It needs compressed air and the compressor is not included. Fair enough. The problem is that neither the sheet nor the documentation gives the working pressure or the air consumption, which are precisely the two numbers you choose a compressor with.

As an order of magnitude, the pneumatic foundation press in this same range asks for 4-6 bar. But that is another machine: tell us which uncapper you will mount it on and we will ask the factory for the pressure and the flow before you buy anything.

03 · ONE METRE MORE OF LINE

And in a small honey house this decides it, not the price

The module adds 1,000 mm to the length of the line, plus the area where somebody has to stand placing supers. Added to the uncapper and the bay for the press underneath, the station stops fitting just anywhere.

Measure it first: it is the check that has stopped most orders in this range, ahead of the electrical supply. And the ejector's reference belongs to the CLASSIC uncapper family, so compatibility with your particular machine has to be confirmed, not assumed.

04 · IT IS ERGONOMICS, NOT THROUGHPUT

And it is worth saying plainly

The ceiling in frames per minute is set by the uncapper, not by loading: this module does not raise the line's throughput. What it buys is the back of whoever works — nobody lifts frames stuck inside a super — and, on a two-person line, it frees the second pair of hands.

Set beside the cappings press, the comparison is honest: the press changes what you can sell, because it recovers honey and wax; the ejector changes how you end the day. Both are worth it, but they are not the same purchase.
