“Fits several Lyson models” settles nothing with the machine open. What settles it are the dimensions — 13.3 mm outer diameter and 56 mm long — and reference 43210008 from the parts diagram.

Take the old one out, measure it and compare: if the diagram gives you another reference, this is not your spare.

02 · WHY STAINLESS

It works between honey and hot wax

This spring lives in the worst spot in the honey house: steam, honey and wax residue, with the heated blades alongside. Carbon steel would pit within one season; stainless leaves no rust where the product passes.

A tired spring does not come back

A tension spring that has lost its pull does not get it back: if the return has gone slow or the comb does not quite reach its position, it is due for replacement even if it is not broken.
