Polyester cover for honey extractors left unused between seasons — keeps out dust, UV and splash water in the honey house. 130 cm tall, with a bottom drawstring and toggle to cinch the opening around the legs. The practical cover for most of the year, when the extractor is waiting for the next harvest.
🛡️ Dust, UV and splash — the three between-season enemies
Between harvests the extractor sits idle for months. Honey-house dust finds its way through the lid and seams, sunlight through windows slowly oxidises stainless steel, and cleaning splash from other tasks stains the surface. The cover blocks all three: UV-stable polyester fabric, dust-proof and splash-resistant. Not submersible —not meant for rain on an outdoor extractor— but perfect for the real case of covered indoor storage.
🔧 Side zipper + bottom drawstring with toggle
The side zipper lets you open and close without removing the full cover — useful when you need quick access to the extractor (to check something, move the gate) without taking it all off. The bottom drawstring with toggle cinches around the legs or base: the cover stays tight and will not blow off in a draft or snag as you walk past. On and off in under a minute.
📐 130 cm height — fits most semi-pro extractors
The 130 cm height comfortably covers 4-8 frame tangential, reversible and small radial extractors — the usual range for a semi-professional beekeeper. For large radials (40+ frames, 140-160 cm tall) it may fall short. If in doubt with your model, measure from the floor to the highest point of the extractor (lid and controls included) before ordering.
