The shaft is the central spindle the baskets spin on.
This stainless steel spare fits firmly to the cage and connects — to the motor through the coupling sleeve on motorised extractors, or to the crank on manual ones — for a steady spin every time.
01 · CONSTRUCTION
Corrosion-resistant, it takes the damp of the honey house and the cleaning cycles without pitting. A straight, well-finished shaft cuts wobble and wear on the rest of the mechanism and makes for cleaning that doesn't compromise the honey's purity.
02 · BEFORE YOU BUY
The shaft is chosen by diameter × length, in three combinations:
· Ø16 mm × 540 mm
· Ø14 mm × 540 mm
· Ø14 mm × 610 mm
Measure the shaft you're replacing (or your cage's seat) and pick the match. On motorised extractors, remember the motor's coupling sleeve must match this shaft diameter.
