The mounting plate is what fixes the motor to the extractor's central bar, square to it and aligned with the cage shaft.
It's essential to motorise: without it, the motor has nowhere to sit.
01 · ASSEMBLY
In stainless steel, it carries the weight and torque of the motor without giving. The motor bolts to the plate and the plate to the bar; keeping the whole thing square is what stops the shaft from labouring and vibration from creeping in. You'll need M8 bolts (plate to bar) and M6 (motor to plate), not included.
02 · BEFORE YOU BUY
Pick the plate by the centre-to-centre distance between the holes on your bar, in three models:
· 62 mm
· 70 mm
· 85 mm
Measure the spacing between the anchor holes on your central bar and pick the one that matches. If you change motor later, it still fits as long as that distance matches.
