Details of Ball Bearing

This ball is the lower support for the extractor's shaft: the bottom end of the shaft pivots on it, so the baskets spin centred and rub-free. A small part, but key to a smooth spin.

🔧 Steady, long-lasting spin

Smooth-surfaced and highly wear-resistant; with a light coat of food-grade lubricant, the shaft turns with precision and stability. A worn lower support makes the shaft wobble and vibrate, so renewing it in time extends the life of the rest of the mechanism. If your extractor starts to vibrate or the shaft is noisy at the bottom, it's usually this ball — a cheap part that brings back a smooth spin.
