Compact and sturdy manual extractor for 3 tangential frames. A practical solution for small-scale beekeeping without power.
When working with a few frames and no access to electricity, a well-built manual extractor makes all the difference. This 3-frame tangential honey extractor offers a robust construction and a simple design that lets you extract honey efficiently in small-scale operations or as a backup unit in the honey house.
As with all tangential extractors, the frames need to be flipped manually to extract both sides, which suits slower-paced workflows and gives you full control of the process. Thanks to its universal basket, it can hold Langstroth, Dadant Blatt and other common frame types — ideal if you're managing mixed hives.
The drum is 500 mm in diameter and made entirely from acid-resistant stainless steel (AISI 304 / 0H18N9), ensuring long-lasting performance, hygiene and no flavor contamination. The basket is made of stainless steel rods with a 25 x 70 mm mesh, designed to protect the comb from breaking during spinning.
The manual crank with brake is mounted on the top beam, giving you precise control even in off-grid locations. A 6/4” plastic valve allows direct draining into a settling tank, and the transparent plexiglass lid gives visibility during extraction without the risk of contact with the spinning basket.
If you value simplicity, reliability and a no-nonsense solution for small volumes, this BASIC extractor delivers exactly what it promises — without overcomplicating things.
