The inner basket takes the worst of the punishment inside a steam wax melter: constant steam, hot water and molten wax eventually wear out the original one. This stainless steel spare brings your 115-litre steam wax melter back to full working order, or gives you a second basket so you never have to wait between loads.

🔧 Stainless steel that stands up to steam season after season

The basket always works at the harshest spot in the melter: wrapped in steam and splashed with hot water and wax. Stainless steel shrugs off those cycles, keeps the perforations clear and won't darken the wax the way iron, zinc or brass would.

🧹 Holds the frames, lets the wax run out free of solids

Load in the frames or pieces of old comb and the steam melts the wax, which runs out through the perforations already free of cocoons, pupal skins and comb debris — the solid dirt stays trapped in the basket. This is a physical filtering of the visible impurities, not a sterilisation or decontamination of the wax.
