🌿 Nitrile: chemical protection that leather can't offer

Nitrile resists oils, greases, acids and most chemicals used in beekeeping: oxalic acid drip solutions, cleaning products, disinfectants for equipment and maintenance treatments. Unlike leather, it does not absorb chemicals, making it easy to clean and preventing your hands from coming into contact with residue that builds up session after session. It is also a safe alternative for beekeepers with a latex allergy.

⚙️ 0.40 mm: the right thickness between protection and feel

These are not thin disposable gloves that tear at the first snag, nor rigid industrial gloves where you lose all sensitivity. The 0.40 mm thickness provides enough barrier against chemicals and splashes while maintaining the flexibility to handle tools, open and close honey gate taps or manipulate frames during treatments. Since the fit is snug, it is best to put them on carefully, pulling the nitrile section gradually to avoid tearing.

🔧 Double stitching at the nitrile-cotton junction

The weakest point on any mixed-material glove is the seam between the glove body and the gauntlet. These feature double stitching at that junction, reinforcing the area of greatest mechanical stress and extending the glove's lifespan. The cotton gauntlet covers the forearm, providing full protection without the need for adhesive tape or makeshift solutions.
