Pack of 12 pairs of 100 % cotton inner gloves in interlock knit, to wear under your leather beekeeping gloves.
This is not a beekeeping glove: it is the layer that goes underneath. What protects you from the sting is still the outer glove.
01 · WHAT IT DOES
Cotton absorbs the moisture before it reaches the glove leather, which is what hardens it season after season. And on a long day you can change the liner without changing the glove: take out the soaked pair, put in a dry one and carry on with the same leather.
02 · TWELVE PAIRS COME IN
A thin knit that works wet and rubs against leather goes through at the fingertips and opens at the seams. That is why the format is twelve pairs: you rotate them and retire the ones that give out. Check them before putting them on — a hole will not get you stung, but it bunches up inside the glove.
03 · THE FIT
There is no size selector, so the criterion is not the size but how it sits: the liner should be stretched out and with no folds across the fingers, and the leather glove has to close over it without squeezing the hand. If the pair together feels tight, you lose the feel for the frame.
04 · BEFORE YOU BUY
And to say it plainly: on its own it is not a barrier against the sting, nor against abrasion or treatment products. Protection comes from the outer glove.
