🔧 Sheepskin palm: sensitivity where it matters

Sheepskin is thinner and more flexible than cowhide or goatskin, which translates into better tactile sensitivity when handling frames, queens and tools inside the hive. You feel the weight of the frame, the resistance of propolis as you pry apart, the edge of the Hoffman frame as you slot it in. That precision is the difference between working comfortably and working blind.

💨 Breathable back and gauntlet: no more sweat

The back of the hand and the gauntlet are made from a heavier-weight knit fabric that is breathable yet offers adequate protection. Air circulates across the entire upper hand and forearm area, reducing the heat and sweat build-up that is the main drawback of full-leather gloves. During 2-3 hour summer inspections, the difference is very noticeable.
