01 · COMPATIBILITY
Four prongs: check the geometry
Check the TO66/GPI2030 reference before filling. Discard any cracked glass, bent lids, or lids with damaged sealing compound; a similar external dimension does not guarantee the same closure.
02 · THERMAL LIMIT
Documented Pasteurization
The data sheet states up to 100 °C for 60 min. The process must be validated with the actual food, jar, headspace, torque, and cycle. Do not extrapolate this data to sterilization.
03 · DECORATION
Beekeeping Design with Traceability
The lithography decorates the packaging, but the mandatory information still corresponds to the label. Store the lids clean, dry, and protected between +5 and +35 °C, with a maximum humidity of 70%.
FROM THE APIARY
A Twist-Off does not screw on like a bottle cap: the four lugs ride up a short ramp and the whole closure is a quarter turn. Sit it flat until you feel it settle, turn to the stop and leave it there: carrying on does not seal better, it bends the lug and leaves the jar impossible to open. If it grates or feels like the thread has stripped, lift it off and set it down again — there is no thread to strip, a lug has ridden over its ramp.
