Two ends, two jobs

Angled end (lever). The hook shape lets you brace against the side of the brood box to lift frames glued with propolis, break the seal on an inner cover that has been down all winter, or separate a super from the brood chamber without wrecking the timber.
Straight end (scraper). Sharpened blade perpendicular to the handle, ideal for scraping wax and propolis residue off frame top bars, inner covers and the top edge of the box. Also works cleanly to cut wax bridges between super and brood before splitting them.
