Curved stainless-steel support for guiding a 50 mm (2-inch) honey hose over the rim of a drum or settling tank.
It keeps the final section raised and directed into the vessel. This is a rest, not a clamp: the fit depends on the hose’s outside diameter and the shape of the rim.
01 · WHAT IT SOLVES
The three rings guide the hose through a broad curve, while the hooks rest the assembly on the vessel. This reduces the risk of a tight bend restricting the flow and keeps the hose outlet directed towards the inside.
02 · SET-UP
With the pump stopped, pass the hose through the rings and hang the hooks over a firm rim. Centre the outlet, leave enough slack to prevent the hose pulling on the support and test at low flow. Do not use it to hold the pump, rigid pipework or a long suspended hose section.
03 · BEFORE YOU BUY
Measure the hose’s actual outside diameter: two hoses with a 50 mm bore can have different wall thicknesses. Check the rim geometry as well. After use, wash with warm water and food-safe detergent, rinse and dry; avoid steel wool and concentrated chlorine.
