Impeller pump for professional bottling rooms. 1.5 kW three-phase 400V motor with reduction gear and reversible direction. Nominal flow of 1,920 kg/h with DN 50 inlets — a generous bore that doesn't choke thick or partly crystallised honey. Also handles honey-laden cappings. Self-priming, no manual priming needed.

Details of Professional impeller honey pump 1.5 kW 400V DN50

Moving several hundred kilos of honey a day through a professional bottling room calls for more than a domestic pump. You need real flow rate, large-bore connections that don't choke the line, and a three-phase motor that won't run out of steam during the first hard campaign. This impeller pump is built exactly for that job.

Impeller pump system. A self-priming rotary pump that combines the behaviour of a centrifugal and a positive displacement pump. The elastomer vanes bend as they pass through an internal restriction in the casing and spring back as they leave it, creating the suction vacuum that draws honey without manual priming and without churning it. The result is a continuous, pulsation-free flow that doesn't aerate or emulsify the product.

1.5 kW geared motor · 400 V three-phase · reversible direction. The integrated reduction gear brings the rotor speed down to a gentle regime that handles honey delicately — essential when working partly crystallised or creamed honey that won't tolerate shear. Reversing the rotation lets you empty pipework sections or purge the hose without unhooking anything. The three-phase 400 V option is designed for honey houses with industrial wiring: the motor runs cooler, no starting losses, no delicate electronics to burn out under heavy use. The pump connections can be oriented in any direction so you can adapt the unit to your actual room layout.

Nominal flow 1,920 kg/h · DN 50 inlets. A genuinely generous bore — not DN 40 or a 1¼″ fitting. This is critical when handling thick or partly crystallised honeys: a narrow inlet forces the motor and tears the vanes. With DN 50 the honey flows comfortably and the actual flow rate stays close to nominal even with product at 20–25 °C. Designed for bottling rooms running several 500–1,000 kg ripeners in parallel.

Honey and honey-laden cappings. The impeller principle handles soft solids in suspension, which is why this pump also lets you transfer wax cappings with embedded honey from the uncapper to a cappings spinner or pressing system. One machine covers two distinct workstations in the honey house.

Before you switch it on · Keep the product temperature below 40 °C in continuous use. Short spikes up to 80 °C are acceptable, but above 40 °C the flow rate drops and vane wear accelerates sharply. Filter the honey first: hard foreign bodies with sharp edges (loose wire, metal swarf) can slice the vanes. Soft solids typical of cappings are not a problem.
