Details of Apifonda Pallet 1kg - Total 768kg

This Apifonda pallet brings together 64 boxes of 12 x 1 kg bags, giving 768 kg of ready-to-use bee sugar paste for direct use in the hive. It is aimed at beekeepers managing volume who want clean, measured feeding without mixing syrup or handling large open blocks. It fits especially well as an energy support after winter, for early winter preparation or during nectar gaps, always checking stores, colony strength and whether honey supers are on.

🍯 Solid energy, no syrup mixing

Apifonda is a sugar paste based mainly on sucrose with microfine crystals coated in a thin syrup film. This texture lets bees take it directly, with fewer spills and less drowning risk than a liquid syrup placed badly in cold weather. It is not a protein supplement: if the issue is lack of pollen or dry brood, that needs to be assessed separately.

📦 Pallet format for volume work

The 768 individual 1 kg bags make it easier to split feed by apiary, nuc or colony group without opening large packs that then remain exposed. For larger beekeeping operations, it cuts preparation time, helps track consumption and lets you load full boxes into the vehicle according to the day’s route.

💡 Practical use in the hive

To use it, cut the bag and place it over the frames, over the crown board feed hole or wherever the bees have real access to the food. In cold weather, simply adding fondant is not enough: it must be close to the cluster or active brood area, because a bag placed far from the bees may be consumed too slowly.

⚠️ Feed with a plan, not by habit

Use it when stores are short, nectar flow is interrupted, colonies are coming out of winter or you are preparing for overwintering. It does not replace health checks or varroa control, and it should be managed outside commercial honey harvest periods or with the right handling to avoid adulteration.
