The seal crosses the lid and runs down both sides. At 107 mm long, what is left after crossing the lid is split between the two sides, and that shrinks fast with the mouth:

On wide lids there is little skirt left to grip the glass. It works, but it is worth knowing before buying a thousand at once.

02 · WHAT IT DOES

It tears, and that is its value

It is a tamper-evident seal: it sticks to the lid and the jar at the same time, so the jar cannot be opened without breaking it. It tells the buyer nobody has touched it.

It carries no personalisation and no statements: it is the visual and security part, not the product's legal label.

03 · THE FULL SYSTEM

Seal on top, label on the body

It is meant to go with the roll of personalised labels in the catalogue: the label wraps the body of the jar with your details and the mandatory particulars, and this seal closes the lid.

They share the finish — coated paper and the same copper foiling on the honey drop — so the jar looks coherent without your having designed anything.

04 · A THOUSAND PER ROLL

The format for packing in earnest

A roll is 1,000 units, ten times the packs of a hundred. It is the step up for someone already packing by the season who does not want to reorder mid-campaign.

And as with the rest: it goes on last, on a clean, dry lid. A trace of honey on the rim lifts the seal within two days.
