Self-adhesive seal for honey jars. Beehive with bees and honey drop design. 54×134 mm.
A seal does not close the jar: the lid already does that. What it does is prove nobody opened it before you.
One hundred self-adhesive seals of 54 × 134 mm with a comb, bees and honey drop design. They stick across the join between lid and glass, and tear on opening.
01 · WHAT IT IS FOR
Placed over the lid joint, the seal acts as a tamper-evident seal: if anyone opens the jar it tears and cannot be put back. In direct sales, at a fair or in a delicatessen it is a cheap gesture that closes the conversation about whether the jar is intact.
And it doubles as a label: 54 mm wide gives enough presence for the design to read from across a counter.
02 · HOW TO STICK IT
The adhesive needs a clean surface: if honey has been left on the neck or the glass is still damp from washing, the seal peels off the next day. Dry the lid and neck properly before applying it, and do it once the jar is already labelled.
The 134 mm length is meant for round lids on medium and large jars: it covers the lid and comes far enough down both sides of the glass for the seal to grip.
