A plastic JZBZ® Wide Base queen cell cup for grafting and planned queen rearing. Its direct-mount design keeps batches organised on a grooved cell bar without a separate cup holder: the lower stem enters the groove and is secured by friction.
Cut a groove of the appropriate depth in the top or bottom cell bar, insert the cell cup stem and twist it until the friction fit is firm. This mounting method is verified for grooved wooden bars and the JZs BZs Cell Bar QC325. Do not confuse it with the JZBZ push-in cell cup, which is designed for a different mounting system.
Available in yellow, green, blue, red and black. Colour does not change how the cup works, but it can identify batches by grafting date, donor colony or lot without marking every piece. The colour code depends on the breeder’s own record-keeping system.
⚠ Part of the method, not a guarantee: the cup makes grafting and batch organisation easier; acceptance and queen-cell development also depend on larval age, nurse bees, nutrition, temperature and timing.
