Details of Natural cell block CNE7

Bloc Nicot CNE7 to house a natural queen cell and work with it within the brand’s queen-rearing system. The cell is inserted into the block, sealed with the B2 plug, and the assembly is placed in the CNE1 holder. If you wish to recover the queen upon emergence, the CNE5 round cage can be added at the end.

🧩 An interface for natural queen cells

The CNE7 allows a cell formed on comb to be integrated into the Nicot modular system, without treating it as a grafting cell cup. Check that the queen cell fits without being crushed, fit the B2 plug and secure the block to a firmly positioned CNE1 support, without forcing or bending its tabs. B2, CNE1 and CNE5 are functionally compatible parts, but are not considered to be included unless expressly stated in the product description.

👑 Handle the queen cell by its holder

Select an intact cell of known age from your calendar. Avoid pressing against its walls, turning it upside down, knocking it or exposing it to sunlight, cold or heat during transfer. Once assembled, keep it in the intended orientation and transfer it quickly to the recipient nucleus or colony. The CNE5 cage is useful when you wish to control emergence and prevent the newly emerged queen from escaping before the batch has been identified.

⚠️ Mechanical protection does not guarantee emergence or acceptance

The outcome depends on the age and viability of the queen cell, temperature, shocks, the strength of the nucleus colony, food stores, health and subsequent handling. Record the origin and date, and check the queen calendar rather than applying a fixed timeframe. After each use, remove wax and propolis without deforming the part, and leave it clean and dry before storing.
