NICOT® CNE1 plastic frame holder for queen rearing. Nailed lengthwise to the frame top bar, holds the CNE2 cupholder block. Rectangular design that optimises spacing without piercing the slat. Made in France. Sold per unit.
The CNE1 is the first link in the NICOT queen rearing system: the base nailed to the frame's top bar, onto which the CNE2 cupholder block —fitted with its CNE3 queen cup— locks in. A small plastic part with a design that looks unassuming but defines everything that follows: spacing between cells, ease of cell extraction, and the integrity of the frame on disassembly.
Nailed lengthwise to the wooden top bar of the queen rearing frame using small brads. The rectangular shape already sets the correct spacing between holders —no need to drill the slat or cut around cells when extracting queens. At season's end, it lifts off without damaging the frame.
The CNE1's geometry lets you line up the maximum number of cup blocks in a single row, using the full length of the bar. On a frame set up for royal jelly or intensive queen rearing, that means more operational cells per frame —more queens or more jelly per colony.
Locks directly onto the CNE2/100 cupholder block, which carries the CNE3 grafting cup. A modular, proven system used by queen breeders worldwide —once you know the workflow, replacements drop straight in.
