01 · COMPATIBILITY

Choose by model, not by appearance

The manufacturer limits this cleaning cap to three product families: InstantVap 18V Original, 12V Original and 18V Compact. It is not described as a universal cap and is explicitly declared incompatible with InstantVap 18V Lite and vaporisers made by other manufacturers. The documentation consulted does not state the outside diameter; identify the exact model of your unit before purchasing.

02 · CLEANING THE CIRCUIT

A measured amount of water and hand-controlled pressure

The InstantVap Compact manual specifies cleaning the unit at least every 100 treatments. With the unit hot, switched off and the battery removed, take out the dispenser, fill the cap one-third full with water and press it firmly over the dispenser tube, keeping the outlet pointed away from your body.

Repeat until steam is no longer produced. Once the unit has cooled, the manual instructs you to rinse it until the water runs clear and heat it again to remove residual moisture. Always follow the manual for your exact model: this accessory does not replace its instructions.

03 · CRITICAL SAFETY

Do not use it if the vaporiser is blocked

Cleaning produces high pressure, hot steam and expelled oxalic-acid residue. Wear gloves, eye protection and suitable respiratory protection; hold the cap firmly and never point the outlet tube towards anyone. If the passage is blocked, do not try to clear it by pressurising it with the cap: use the manufacturer's unblocking procedure.

Two caps per pack; vaporiser not included

Each retail unit contains 2 cleaning caps. The colour may vary. The vaporiser, dispenser, battery, water and personal protective equipment are not included. If your unit is a Lite model, is made by another manufacturer or you cannot identify its exact version, do not choose this spare part on visual similarity alone.
