The InstantVap® 18V Turbo is the new battery-powered sublimator that takes varroa treatment to the next level. In addition, the status LED light clearly indicates whether it is heating, ready, or vaporizing — even in bright daylight.

Why 260 °C and not 230 °C? The InstantVap® Turbo allows you to adjust the temperature between 230 and 260 °C via its LED screen, giving beekeepers full flexibility. However, during development a specific study was carried out and results showed that at 260 °C the vapor contained up to 73% oxalic acid with only 6% formic acid, ensuring maximum effectiveness with minimal degradation.

Speed also improves significantly: vaporizing 2 g of oxalic acid takes 25 seconds at 230 °C, but only 10 seconds at 260 °C. This is why, although the range is adjustable, the official recommendation is to work at 260 °C: Turbo mode is not just a name, it is the setting that guarantees the best results.

Turbo: the best of both worlds. Until now, beekeepers were divided between the Compact model, appreciated for its ergonomics and stability, and the Original model, valued for its displays and advanced settings. The new Turbo combines both: the robust and ergonomic design of the Compact with the information and settings of the Original. Built to last. Made of stainless steel with a replaceable brass nozzle, the Turbo is designed to withstand hard field use. The adjustable dispenser (1–4 g) can be set without tools, and its compatibility with 18V/20V batteries from major brands (Makita®, DeWalt®, Bosch®, Milwaukee®, among others) guarantees freedom of movement and autonomy for up to 50 hives with a 4–5 Ah battery.

Important usage note. The InstantVap® Turbo is designed for official veterinary medicines whose active substance is oxalic acid (in Spain: Varroxal and Api-bioxal). When using Api-bioxal, its excipients (such as silica and glucose) may caramelize and block the gas outlet, so it is essential to clean the sublimator after each use.
