Stainless steel single-dose dispenser for INSTANTVAP® sublimators, adjustable from 1 to 4 g without tools — the part that makes the charge identical in hive 1 and hive 80.

Dosing by the spoonful or by eye has a problem you do not see until you inspect: every colony gets a different amount. The single-dose dispenser settles that mechanically — set it once at the start of the round and from then on it delivers the same charge every time, hive after hive, with no reweighing and no arithmetic.

⚙️ Adjustable from 1 to 4 g, and no tools needed

The adjustment range runs from 1 to 4 grams and changes by hand, with no tool required, so you can correct it out in the apiary without stripping anything down or hunting for a spanner. That is the practical difference from a measuring spoon: you are not depending on a steady hand or on how tightly packed the product sits in the tub, and your rhythm does not break between colonies.

Worth spelling out, because this is the part that matters. This accessory is a metering device, not a treatment: how much product goes into each hive, at what point in the year, at what temperature and with what withdrawal period is determined by the datasheet of the authorised veterinary medicine you are using — in Spain, the registered oxalic acid products listed on AEMPS/CIMA Vet. This page gives no doses, no schedules and no calendars: set the dispenser to whatever that datasheet says and follow its conditions of use.

🔧 Why stainless steel, and what wears out

It is made of stainless steel, which is what stands up to the combination at work here: a corrosive chemical plus the heating and cooling cycle of every sublimation. The part that does wear with use is the dispenser's O-ring, sold separately: if you notice it losing its seal or the adjustment going slack, start there before replacing the whole dispenser.
