Instantvap
Instantvap builds 18 V battery oxalic acid sublimators: four models — Lite, Compact, Original and Turbo — plus the accessories that actually get used, a single-dose dispenser and a telescopic bar. The device sublimates; what you sublimate must be an authorised veterinary medicine, used according to its own label.

What a sublimator does, and what it does not
A sublimator heats the product until it turns from solid to vapour without burning it, and introduces it through the entrance. The advantage over other application methods is that the hive stays closed. It is an application device: the product you sublimate must be an authorised veterinary medicine, and the dose, the timing and the number of applications are whatever its label says — not whatever the device allows.
The four models and what actually separates them
- Lite (€206.57): the entry model, 18 V battery. Fine for a few hives with no hurry between them.
- Compact (€300.83): same principle, easier format to carry down a row.
- Original 18 V (€315.70): the reference model, the one most often in professional hands.
- Turbo (€330.17): raises the pace. You feel the difference when the bottleneck is recovery time between hives, not the device itself.
What really decides: how many hives in a row
They all do the same job. The useful question is how many hives you treat in one session, because that is where heating cycle and battery weigh. For 10 or 20, the Lite is plenty. Past 50 in a row, the Turbo saves you hours in the field. And if you work alone, the telescopic bar (€35.50) is one of those €35 purchases that saves your back.
Dosing without improvising
The 1 to 4 g single-dose dispenser (€33.02) exists so the amount does not depend on a steady hand. That is the difference between applying a dose and tipping in "some". There is also a replacement dispenser for the Lite (€20.66) and an insulating cover (€31.36).
