Choose the battery connection with the device

The 18 V versions are supplied with a specific battery connection. If you already use a platform, select that connection in the vaporiser variant; two batteries marked 18 V will not necessarily fit. Also check whether a battery and charger are included.

The Compact brings the equipment into a smaller format. The Turbo adds controls and a display. Compare work rates including heating, battery changes and preparation between colonies; a cycle time does not describe the whole working day.

Lite uses its own replacement parts

The Lite dispenser and its insulator are ordered for that range. Do not confuse them with Original or Compact parts. The telescopic support shown here fits Original, Compact and Turbo, not Lite. Retain the full device name when replacing dispensers, seals or supports. Compact includes a dispenser adjustable from 1 to 4 g without tools. That mechanical range does not establish an application dose; the authorised medicine’s product information does.

Which medicine it is used with

The device is used with a medicine authorised for vaporisation, such as Api-Bioxal powder: its current, sugar-free formulation works in any electrically heated vaporiser, this one included, at 2 g per colony according to its product information. Technical-grade oxalic acid is not a medicine, even if the device can vaporise it. Dose, colony conditions and use with supers are set by the medicine’s leaflet.

The manual requires respiratory, eye and hand protection, including during maintenance. The device stays hot after switching off; allow it to cool and remove the battery before transport.
