01 · TWO METRES OF QUEUE

Which is what lets you go for more supers

The two metres of rail are not for transport: they are for buffering. You load several supers ahead and the uncapper keeps working while you fetch the next ones or clear the bench.

Without that buffer, the machine stops every time the super you had loaded runs out. It is the same idea as the collecting table at the end of a filling line: it does not automate an operation, it automates not having to be there.

02 · THE CHAIN DELIVERS THEM STRAIGHT

And it does not touch the cappings on the way

Transport is by chain, not by pushing: every frame is held and reaches the blades in the same position as the last. That is what makes the uncapper's depth setting mean anything from one frame to the next.

The speed adjusts to the machine's pace. A brood frame and a shallow do not uncap at the same rate, and the loader keeps step instead of building pressure at the inlet.

03 · BUT IT STARTS AT A LIFT

And that lift is not in our range

The maker designed it to receive frames from a hydraulic super lift that raises the super to rail height. That lift is not in our catalogue: if you want one, ask and we will quote it.

Without it the loader works the same, but supers go up to the rail by hand. And one precision: the maker's sheet claims compatibility with Langstroth, Dadant and Layens, but the real limit is set by the uncapper, which is built only in a Dadant Blatt or a Langstroth version.
