Beekeeper suit with double lining – Allergy-safe

If you're allergic to bee stings, working in the apiary is still possible—but you can't take risks. This double-layer full suit has been specifically designed for those who need an enhanced level of protection, without sacrificing comfort or practicality in the field.

Made in Poland by LYSON, it combines two durable fabrics: an inner layer of cotton and polyester for breathability and comfort, and an outer layer of 100% polyester that acts as a shield against stings. It’s not infallible—nothing is in beekeeping—but it significantly reduces the risk of stinger contact, especially in vulnerable areas like the back, chest and arms.

Double veil: excellent visibility with enhanced safety
The fencing-style veil features a wide, airy mesh front that doesn’t distort your view, reinforced with a canvas-style mesh at the back to prevent collapse when leaning your head back. The main zipper is protected with a velcro flap, ensuring bees can’t sneak in around the neck.

Secure fit without weak spots
The wrists and ankles are finished with elastic cuffs and rubber trim to keep the suit sealed but comfortable. It also includes foot straps to keep the legs in place when bending or lifting. Zipped front pockets let you store tools without risk of snags or gaps.

This type of suit is not only ideal for allergic beekeepers but also for more intense tasks—like transhumance, splitting colonies, or harvesting strong nectar flows such as eucalyptus or sunflower, when hives tend to be more defensive.

While this suit offers high protection, it does not completely eliminate the risk. If you're allergic, make sure to:

• Always carry your medication (epinephrine, antihistamines, etc.)
• Avoid working alone in the apiary
• Inform others of your condition
• Wear proper gloves and closed boots
• Don’t skimp on smoke—or patience
