01 · WHAT IT DOES

Long handle and pivot for a full bucket

The claws close on the bucket rim and lock with the wing nut; the two 40.5 cm arms stick out as a handle and give the leverage a full bucket lacks. Rest the bucket on the edge of the tank or drum and tilt it from the handle with one hand while the other guides the stream: the honey falls inside, slowly or all at once as needed, and the bucket does not get away mid-tip. With thick or cold honey, the leverage is what lets you dose instead of dumping.

02 · WHICH BUCKETS

Walls of 0.5 to 2.4 cm, round container

The hooks adjust for rims 0.5 to 2.4 cm thick: food-grade plastic buckets of 20-25 kg, with or without a lip, and metal buckets. The receiving container needs a free edge to rest the tip on, which is the case of honey tanks, vessels and drums. All stainless, 14 cm wide and 0.8 kg: it washes with hot water and honey does not pit it.

03 · BEFORE YOU BUY

The clamp is supplied alone; the bucket comes separately.
