Pallet of Ambrosia® 800kg

When you manage a lot of hives, the last thing you want is running out of feed in the middle of the season or depending on whether the truck arrives on time. For professional and semi-professional beekeepers, peace of mind is having a pallet in the warehouse and knowing that, if the nectar flow stops, the colonies will still have energy.

This Ambrosia full-pallet format is designed exactly for that: to secure solid feed supply for the whole season. Each pallet contains 64 boxes of 12.5 kg, for a total of 800 kg of fondant, ready to go straight from storage to the apiary.

Ambrosia is an energy paste for maintenance feeding, with a firm but pliable texture that does not go rock hard in cold weather and does not turn runny in hot periods. The crystal size is very fine, so bees can consume it effortlessly, and the block stays stable for weeks inside the hive, which is key when the weather breaks or nectar stops suddenly.

The sugars come from European sugar beet and the product is manufactured by Nordzucker, a German sugar producer with worldwide reputation. This is not something experimental: this feed has been used in beekeeping for more than thirty years, tested in professional apiaries across Europe with very consistent results. It also contains no HMF and no unwanted residues, avoiding the sanitary risks of re-using honey or cappings of doubtful origin.

It fits especially well in maintenance phases of the colony: preparing for winter, hives that come out of harvest with low stores, long rainy periods, prolonged bad weather or confinement caused by bee-eaters or Asian hornets. In all these situations, it supplies the carbohydrates the bees cannot find in the field.

Each box contains 2.5 kg bags, a very convenient format for daily work: you place the bag inside the hive, make a cut in the plastic (many beekeepers prefer cutting on the underside and placing it upside down across the top bars so the heat from the cluster softens it from below) and let the colony do the rest. In medium-strength colonies with no meaningful nectar flow, a single bag can cover several weeks of consumption, always depending on population and season.

From a management point of view, this 800 kg pallet allows you to plan the whole campaign with a single order: one transport, a better price per kilo and enough stock to handle peak demand without having to make last-minute emergency purchases.
