Professional extractor for 56 Langstroth or super frames. 0.75 kW motor, HE-02N controller and double stainless steel honey gate.
Radial extractor of Ø 1,200 mm for 56 frames a load, with a 0.75 kW geared motor and a seven-phase controller.
Radial means a single direction of spin. The frames sit like spokes and the honey comes out without turning any of them. In exchange there is one condition you cannot skip: the radial system wants fluid honey and balanced frames.
01 · 56 LANGSTROTH, 42 DADANT
A load takes 56 Langstroth frames, 56 shallow ones or 42 Dadant brood frames. The difference is not arbitrary: the brood frame is taller and needs more space between slots.
The condition worth keeping in mind is that every frame in a load must be of the same type and height. Mixing formats unbalances the cage, and an unbalanced cage at 1,200 mm of diameter is exactly what you do not want.
02 · RADIAL WANTS FLUID HONEY
In a radial the honey has to travel out along the cell by itself. With fluid honey it comes out clean and in one direction of spin; with dense honey or honey starting to crystallise, the radial turns slow and leaves product inside.
So its ground is supers and ordinary season honeys, in volume. For dense honeys the catalogue's answer is another — pricking the comb first, or a reversible — and that is worth knowing before choosing by frame count.
03 · THE HE-02N AND ITS SEVEN PHASES
The automatic HE-02N panel brings eight programmes: two manual, one preset automatic and five customisable. Each cycle takes up to seven phases, and in every phase you set time, speed and direction of spin.
That is what separates real automation from a timer: you can write a gentle ramp for delicate comb and a harder one for old frames, and repeat them exactly the same all season. The 5 mm methacrylate lid lets you watch without opening.
04 · 150 KG ON A PALLET
It ships assembled on a pallet, and it is 150 kg: you have to plan how to get it down and where it goes, because it does not move between two people. The soft PVC bases it comes with damp the vibration of uneven loads.
The 0.75 kW geared motor sits in the base and runs on 230 V, so it asks for no three-phase supply. It carries two stainless 2 inch taps, which let you empty faster or split the outlet. The legs and hinges, eight pieces, are reinforced plastic.
05 · BEFORE YOU BUY
Large honey-house capacity, with one condition about the honey.
| ✓ FITS | 56 Langstroth or shallow, or 42 Dadant brood, with fluid honey and a load of one single format. |
| ⚠ IT ARRIVES ON A PALLET, 150 KG | It ships assembled on a pallet. Plan the unloading and the final spot before it turns up. |
| ✕ NOT FOR DENSE HONEYS | The radial needs fluid honey. With thick or crystallising honey it leaves product inside the comb. |
