Electric Radial Extractor 42 Frames LYSON OPTIMA

If you manage a significant number of hives and want to extract honey efficiently without having to flip the frames midway, this Ø900 mm radial electric extractor is a reliable option. Its radial design allows honey to be extracted simultaneously from both sides of the comb, as long as you use uniform frames and fluid honey. This setup works especially well with freshly uncapped honey. However, keep in mind that radial extractors —while offering higher loading capacity— usually require slightly longer cycles and exert less centrifugal force compared to tangential extractors.

This means they can be more delicate with old or poorly sealed combs, which are more prone to breakage if the speed isn't properly adjusted. That said, the high number of frames per cycle usually outweighs this in most honey houses.

This model holds up to 42 Langstroth frames, 24 Dadant (Blatt or US) deep frames, or 42 Dadant medium frames. The reinforced 0.6 mm stainless steel drum with a conical bottom ensures optimal honey drainage. The welded stainless steel cage (ø8 and ø6 mm rods) maintains stability even under full load. A 350 W motor located at the base improves overall balance and uses belt drive. The SDD-2DP digital controller allows progressive speed adjustment. It operates on either 230 V mains or a 12 V battery, which is useful if you work both in the honey house and the field.

Manufactured in Europe by the Polish brand LYSON, this extractor is shipped fully assembled on a pallet. It comes with epoxy-coated steel legs, a 4 mm thick acrylic lid for safe viewing, and a 1.5-inch stainless steel honey gate (≈ 38 mm) for fast and clean draining. For thick honeys like heather, you can optionally add a diagonal grid (ref. W256_900) to switch to tangential mode when needed.
