The Turbopro reverses the usual uncapping direction and allows you to adjust the working angle. Its two wing nuts secure the head's position relative to the plastic handle.
Loosen with a clean tool, choose a moderate angle, and tighten the two wing nuts evenly. Test on a small area; if it goes in too far, reduce the angle before continuing.
The opposite movement to that of a conventional comb can speed up the work once learned. Keep your other hand out of the way and let the tines open the capping without tearing out deep honeycomb.
Accumulated wax changes the effective angle and the wing nuts can loosen. Clean, check the position, and remove the tool if there are deformed tines or loose parts.
