Wooden Wax Cappings Press (30cm)

The capping press consists of a base, a wooden grid and a screw pressure system. The clip mechanism multiplies the force exerted by the beekeeper, making crushing operations easier.

In addition to recovering the honey from the cappings. It is also used to extract honey from the honeycombs of hives such as the Warré, Kenyata or straw hives that do not have wired frames and, therefore, their honeycombs cannot be extracted in a honey centrifuge and must be pressed.

In addition to beekeeping, this type of press can be used for other uses: olives, grapes, etc.
