This product is a German-made machine designed to melt honeycomb cappings and separate the wax from the honey. The melting process is carried out by a built-in heating system in the device's lid. Additionally, a fan beneath the heating element provides continuous air circulation and uniform temperatures throughout the container. During the melting process, the honey flows to the bottom of the container and is covered by the melted wax, preventing the honey from overheating.

This machine is also suitable for liquefying crystallized honey in jars or buckets by placing them directly inside the machine.

DIMENSIONS AND FEATURES

It has a removable stainless steel internal sieve, three legs with wheels and locking brakes. The container is made of double-walled stainless steel with a thickness of about 1 cm, and has an outer diameter of about 54 cm and an inner diameter of 52 cm. The working height and container height is 118 cm, and the interior height is 71 cm. The lid has a snap lock with a heating unit and fan, and a removable black insulation for the heating unit. The temperature can be adjusted using a thermostat between 30°-110°C, and it has a power output of 2.5 kW / 230V. The product weight is approximately 45 kg.

OPERATION

With this machine, the entire process of melting honeycomb cappings, separating honey, and wax is simple. The process is carried out by circulating hot air. In the container's lid, there is a heater with a power output of 2.5 kW/230V. The temperature can be adjusted using a thermostat between 30°-110°C. A fan with air circulation ensures a uniform temperature throughout the container. The wax begins to melt, the honey flows to the bottom of the container, the melted wax covers the honey and protects it from overheating. The honeycomb cappings melting machine allows the extraction of all the honey from the wax caps, making the investment quickly pay off.

In summary, due to the temperature, the honey and wax begin to melt. Due to their higher weight, the honey will flow to the bottom, while the wax remains floating on top. This allows the clean honey to be extracted first and the wax afterwards.

PERFORMANCE

The device has a melting capacity of approximately 35 kg of honeycomb cappings per cycle, and to melt about 35 kg of wax, it requires about 6 hours and 3.5 kW of electrical energy. The machine has 2 cm thick insulation on the container wall, and a perforated insert at the base of the container. All components of the machine that come into contact with honey are made from food-grade materials.

This honeycomb cappings melting system is especially suitable for beekeepers who uncap with combs or knives, as these extraction methods leave more honey on the cappings.
