The Cappings Extruder OPTIMA 50 kg/h is a professional device designed to mechanically separate honey from wax cappings after frame uncapping. Made entirely from high-quality acid-resistant stainless steel, it combines extraction efficiency with a compact, robust design, making it ideal for small to medium-sized honey processing facilities.

What need does it address in honey extraction?

Freshly uncapped wax cappings retain a significant amount of honey. Without recovery, this results in economic loss. This extruder allows you to efficiently and automatically extract honey from cappings, producing two separate products: clean honey ready for filtration and dry wax ready for melting.

How does the cappings extruder work?

The separation process occurs inside a perforated cylinder where:

A rotating module presses the cappings, causing honey to pass through the perforations onto a sieve located underneath.
An internal auger screw moves and compacts the dry wax, transporting it outside.
Result: dry wax and clean extracted honey.

The movement is driven by a robust 0.55 kW motor-reducer powered by 400V three-phase current. Operation is controlled by an L-0-P switch (Start-Stop) without screw speed adjustment.
