Portable gas-powered fogger for dispersing liquids like glycerin or oils. Suitable for beekeeping and agricultural applications outdoors, without electricity.
The ANEL Fogger is a portable nebulizer designed to create a dense, controlled mist from liquids such as glycerin or vegetable oils. Powered by a standard butane or propane gas cartridge (not included), it operates without electricity or open flames, making it a practical alternative for fieldwork or areas with high fire risk.
Its operation is simple yet precise: screw the gas cartridge, fill the tank with the appropriate liquid, ignite the device using the integrated piezo, and after a few minutes of heating, pull the trigger to release the mist. Each trigger pull injects approximately 2 ml of liquid through the copper coil, where it vaporizes into fine microdroplets. Pro tip: always pump a few times before ignition to ensure smooth liquid flow, preventing coil damage.
For optimal results, it is recommended to press the trigger every 3–4 seconds to achieve a drier and more consistent mist. Avoid directing the fog directly at people, animals, or food and always keep the device in a horizontal position relative to the ground. When using the fogger for beekeeping, apply the mist about 5–10 cm from the hive entrance to allow proper penetration into the colony. However, when using it for surface treatment, land management, or agricultural applications, it is advisable to keep a distance of approximately 1.5 meters from the target area to ensure even dispersion. A white mist indicates correct vaporization, while yellowish tones or excessive droplets suggest incorrect trigger timing.
For safe use, it is essential to wear protective masks with appropriate filters and eye protection to avoid inhalation or contact with the mist during operation.
The fogger features key safety details like a trigger lock for ignition and a gas valve that must be fully closed after use. Proper maintenance, such as emptying the tank and fogging with liquid vaseline after each use, helps preserve the internal coil and extends the device’s service life.
When used properly, this device enables efficient mist dispersion in beekeeping or agricultural environments. Usage must always comply with local regulations.
Important: The Fogger is not a substitute for a sublimator. While sublimators work with solid oxalic acid, converting it directly into gas (sublimation), the Fogger operates by vaporizing mixtures of liquids like glycerin or vaseline. Therefore, it must not be used to apply pure oxalic acid or medications. Treatments against varroa mites must be carried out using authorized medications and approved methods such as trickling or controlled sublimation with sublimators.
