Details of Honey Pump 220v 2cv Minor®

Transferring honey by bucket works fine for a small apiary, but once the harvest grows it becomes the bottleneck of the honey house. This Minor® vane pump moves honey from the extractor or the honey tank to the next container without knocking it about, built for mid-size operations that already harvest in volume.

🍯 IMPELLER system: self-priming, no aeration

The flexible natural rubber (NR) impeller creates the vacuum that makes the pump self-priming: no priming needed, it starts even with an empty line. Running at low speed it moves up to 2,400 L/h without whipping air into the honey or emulsifying it — actual flow depends on viscosity and temperature, so with very dense or cold honey it pays to warm it up before pumping.

🔧 Stainless steel AISI 304 body

The pump body is AISI 304 stainless steel, food-safe and built for the cleaning cycles typical of a honey house. The outlet is 40 mm with a Garolla quick-connect fitting, matching standard transfer hose without adapters.

📐 Motor and transport trolley

It runs on a three-phase 1.5 kW (2 hp) motor, enough for hours of transfer work without strain. It sits on a stainless steel trolley with wheels, so you can roll it between the extractor, the honey tank and the bottling area without lifting it.

🧹 Make it last: clean it after every use

Crystallised honey left inside the pump is the most common cause of breakdowns: it jams the impeller and strains the motor. Running warm water through the circuit right after transferring prevents most of these issues. The impeller and mechanical seal are the normal wear parts — when it's time to replace them, we stock both.
